Interview with Pietro Li Castri and Samantha Li Castri of the Arch&amp;Tech firm in Palermo <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Form or function?<br\/>In the eternal dichotomy that has characterized the debate between <strong>engineering and architecture<\/strong> for decades, hybrid theories, middle grounds, and shades of gray of varying intensity between black and white have been grafted.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<strong>Form follows function<\/strong>\u201d and conforms to its utility, a concept expressed by the acronym <strong>FFF<\/strong>, coined by Louis Sullivan, mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright, in the 1896 treatise &#8220;The Tall Office Building Artistically Considered.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The search for a <strong>harmonious compromise<\/strong> between the aesthetics of a <strong>volume<\/strong> and its <strong>rational practicality<\/strong> has been skillfully combined by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archandtech.eu\/\"><strong>Arch&amp;Tech<\/strong><\/a>, a design firm based in <strong>Palermo<\/strong>, where the equivalence between the two factors has characterized the genesis and evolutionary process of this team of professionals.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We find Arch&amp;Tech as the <strong>technical partner<\/strong> of the contractor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagostinocostruzioni.it\/\"><strong>\u201cD\u2019Agostino Costruzioni Generali\u201d<\/strong><\/a> at the construction site of the new <strong>Sibaritide hospital<\/strong> in Calabria.
